International Journal of Stress Management (IJSM)
Established in 1993 as the official journal of the International Stress Management Association (ISMA), IJSM is dedicated to the assessment, management, and treatment of stress and trauma across emotional, cognitive, behavioral, and physiological dimensions. The journal disseminates high-quality, peer-reviewed original research, including qualitative and quantitative empirical studies, theoretical and historical analyses, and review articles. Additionally, it features brief reports, book reviews, and editorial contributions. The journal publishes articles that enhance theoretical and practical understanding, and champion methodologically robust research on stress identification and management. It encompasses a broad spectrum of disciplines, including psychology, social sciences, psychiatry, medicine, therapeutic and healthcare fields, business and industry, humanities, arts, education, engineering, and other areas. IJSM is a quarterly publishing, peer-reviewed, hybrid open access journal. The journal publishes original research and offers masked peer review (where both the authors’ and reviewers’ identities are not known to each other). With over 500 publications, the contributions to the IJSM come from an international array of scholars and practitioners who come from varied disciplines around the globe.
