IJSM disallows authors from simultaneously submitting a single manuscript to multiple publishers for review.
Additionally, IJSM mandates that authors disclose any potential conflicts of interest related to their research, such as financial stakes in a particular test or procedure or receiving research funding from pharmaceutical companies for drug studies.
It is a violation of journal’s Ethical Principles to publish “as original data, data that have been previously published”.
IJSM expects authors to adhere to these standards. Specifically, IJSM expects authors to have their data available throughout the editorial review process and for at least 5 years after the date of publication.
Authors must provide a written statement affirming their adherence to APA ethical standards in the treatment of their subjects, whether human or animal, or offer a detailed description of the treatment procedures employed.
