IJSM offers hybrid open access publishing model, meaning that upon acceptance of the paper the author is given a choice of free availability or open access of its publication to readers upon payment of Article Processing Charge (APC). When we refer to open access for a manuscript, we are describing its unrestricted availability on the worldwide web, allowing all users to freely read, download, duplicate, distribute, print, search, or create links to the complete content of these articles. This also includes the ability to index them for search purposes, extract data for software applications, or utilize them for any legitimate use, without encountering any financial, legal, or technical obstacles, except for those inherent to accessing the internet itself. However, the copyrights of the submitted article will be retained by the author(s), the journal will only have a license to publish and distribute the accepted manuscripts.
At IJSM, we use Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial (CC BY-NC) license. This means that others can distribute, remix, adapt, and build upon the authors’ work non-commercially, as long as they give appropriate credit to the original author. All authors publishing with IJSM accept this as the terms of publication.
We follow ethical publishing guidelines defined by organizations such as DOAJ, OASPA, WAME and ICMJE.
